Undergraduate teaching.

I am presently teaching Fys-1003 Basic experimental physics in the fall semester, and I am teaching a project on microwave antennas (build your own!) as part of Fys-1006 Signals and sensors in the spring semester.

I have previously teached Fys-1001 Mechanics, Fys-0100 Basic physics, Fys-3007 Microwave techniques, and industrial plasma physics (no longer available).

Graduate teaching.

Based on the number of interested students (should as much as three to run a full course), I teach the Master/PhD-level course Fys-3017/8017 Laboratory plasmas for space research and the related Fys-8017 on Ph.D. level.

Text Box: I am happy to supervise students interested in plasma experiments on master projects within the 5– and 2-year Master programmes in Space Physics. Over the next three years from fall 2007, there are also two postdocs and one Ph.D. student involved in projects at Aurolab.
Some Ms.Sc. projects ideas can be viewed here.

Socrates collaboration.

I am the contact person for two Socrates agreements. One is with the Leopold Frantzens University of Innsbruck, where Prof. Roman Schrittwieser at the Innsbrucker Experimentelle Plasmaphysikgruppe (IEPPG) is the contact person. The other is with the University of Milan, the Plasmaprometeo CoE, where Prof. Claudia Riccardi is contact person. Students who wants to go abroad has the opportunity to do plasma physics projects for 6 months or one year in two excellent and productive groups.

Presently supervising:
Ph. D. student Hanne Sigrun Byhring since Sept. 2007.
